Daddy's Little Helper

We took Ethan to get his one year pictures a few weeks ago (I was really hoping to go with "Glamour Shots", but we just couldn't find one close enough... maybe next year). Here are a couple of our favorites:

"Santa" brought me a sweet bench press for Christmas, so I've turned our spare bedroom into a "weight room". Ethan was my little helper as I put it together (he was especially handy with the electric screw driver):

I'm hoping this new bench press will help me get back into "glory days" form. Here's a picture of my bicep; I'll take another picture in a couple months and let you decide if all my hard work is really paying off...

A Christmas to Remember

We had a wonderful Christmas in Wisconsin, here are a few highlights from our trip...

As always, there was plenty of time for fun and games!
This year we added to the repertoire Wii and Guitar Hero's, but
still enjoyed some of our old favorites too:Catch Phrase, Taboo,
Encore, Cranium, and we can't forget mom's favorite, Oodles.

Ethan discoverd his new favorite game...and learned
a few tricks of the trade from his Grandpa Frank!

Steve and Mom were this years 'Top Banana'
pool tournament winners and they couldn't have been happier!
Steve is still talking about his "shot of the century"!
We also had plenty of time to relax which included a girls day out for
pedicures (we wish our other two girls could have been
there to enjoy it with us)!

We're so grateful for the time we had to spend with family and
to remember and celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Happy 1st Birthday Ethan!

We're finally catching up on our blog and wanted to start with Ethan's birthday. It was a very busy day as I tried to make it perfect for Ethan and Steve tried to do the same for me (since we share a birthday). Nonetheless, Ethan loved the party hats, the noise makers, the balloons and the gifts. Actually, I think the only thing he didn't love about his birthday was the cake (I'm sure it had nothing to do with the fact that it was sugar free ha ha)...he may only be one year old but he knows what he likes (and doesn't like for that matter).

Happy Birthday Ethan!!!

Love, Mom and Dad
